Apple's BeatsX wireless headphones are finally out on February 10

Vlad, 07 February 2017

Apple's long-delayed BeatsX wireless neckband-style earphones are finally going to become available globally on February 10. That's when you'll be able to buy a pair from Apple's online stores, authorized resellers, as well as the Apple physical stores. The BeatsX will set you back $150, £130, or AUD 200, depending on where you live.

At first they will only be offered in black and white, but a couple of newly unveiled color versions are coming soon: gray and blue. The BeatsX were allegedly designed by Apple-owned Beats with the help of Apple engineers, and they include the custom W1 chip that makes pairing them to an iPhone as easy as powering them on and holding them near the handset.

The BeatsX aren't sweatproof, however, do keep that in mind. The battery life is said to be up to 8 hours, while a five-minute charge will bring you two hours of listening. Speaking of which, these charge by using a Lightning connector (so you can be sure they were actually designed at least in part by Apple engineers). If you don't have an iPhone or Mac, fret not for the BeatsX will work with non-Apple hardware too, since they use Bluetooth after all.

Sony is far better than beats, compact yet still great sound, great quality and great looks and design.... Much better frequency range and extra bass... Beats is like made for 12 year who only know about price tag.
