Sony Xperia XA getting new security update

Himanshu, 22 February 2017

Sony has started rolling out a new update to its Xperia XA smartphone. Arriving as build number 33.2.A.4.70 for the standard model (F3111, F3113, F3115) and 33.2.B.4.70 for the Xperia XA Dual (F3112, F3116), the update brings Android security patches for the month of January.

There's currently no information on what other changes (if any) that are included in the update.

As is usually the case with OTA roll outs, it may take some time for the update notification to pop up on your device. Meanwhile, if you feel impatient, you can manually check for the update by heading to your handset's Settings menu.
