Himanshu, 15 March 2017

Several Canadian carriers have started pushing out the Nougat update to Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 edge units on their networks. The list includes SaskTel, Bell, Virgin Mobile, EastLink, Wind Mobile and Freedom Mobile.

Nougat for Galaxy S7 (SM-G930W8) is arriving as firmware version G930W8VLU2BQB6, while that for the edge model (SM-G935W8) is arriving as version G935W8VLU2BQB6. The update weighs in at around 1.3GB.

Of the few names missing from the list, one is Rogers. The carrier, in case you missed, recently updated its OS upgrade schedule to reflect that the update will start rolling March 20 onwards.
