The LG-VS501 - which has already cleared the FCC and is expected to be the Verizon variant of the LG K8 (2017) - has been granted WiFi certification by the Wi-Fi Alliance (WFA), suggesting an imminent launch.

The LG K8 (2017) was officially unveiled back in December last year. Specs-wise, it is powered by Snapdragon 425 SoC and sports a 5-inch HD display. Memory configuration is 1.5GB/16GB, while camera configuration is 13MP/5MP. The device runs Android 7.0 Nougat. It's already available from US Cellular.
