Samsung starts rolling Galaxy S6 edge+ Nougat update in India and Sri Lanka

Himanshu, 30 March 2017

After Europe, Samsung has now started rolling out the Nougat update to the Galaxy S6 edge+ smartphone in a couple of Asian markets. Arriving as version G928GDDU3CQC7, the update - which is hitting units in India and Sri Lanka - brings along Android version 7.0.

Aside from Nougat, the update also includes Android security fixes for the month of March.

As is usually the case with OTA roll outs, it may take time for the update notification to pop up on your screen. Meanwhile, if you feel impatient, you can manually check for the update by heading to your handset's Settings menu.
