Samsung Galaxy J5 (2017) clears FCC

The Samsung Galaxy J5 (2017), which is already WiFi certified and has also been spotted in benchmark listings, has cleared the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) in the United States. The device carries a model number of SM-J530F.

The device was recently leaked in a couple of live images. As for specs, rumors says the handset is powered by Exynos 7870 SoC and features a 12MP rear as well as front camera. RAM is 2GB, while storage is 16GB. The phone runs Android Nougat (version 7.0) out of the box.

Nice phone

The j7 isn't sporting anything better. A few of the sd625 budget phones went to 32gb and even less went above 2gb ram. Not quite there yet. Another year for $250 phones and several for the j5. Unless you live in China where patent laws don't matter, ...

Only phones I know with 32 GB/3 GB for ~200€ are from Meizu, Asus and Archos. Other brands like LG, Sony, HTC are around the same price and with 16 GB/2 GB as well, but nah, you got something against Samsung haha, still better than LG, Sony, HTC pho...
