Waze now lets users record directions in their own voice

Community-based traffic and navigation app Waze has received a new update. The update brings only one major feature: the Waze voice recorder. Yes, now you can record your own voice directions.

"In your Waze settings, tap Sound & voice to access Voice recorder, and get your kids and friends to record a favorite voice style," the change-log for the update explains. In addition, the update also brings along some minor bug fixes and improvements.

Nokia Maps during its symbian Anna/ Belle days used to have this feature too. Not only could you record your own turn directions and other instructions, you could also upload it so that others could download it and use it as well.
