Galaxy Note8 to have 6.3-inch display, dual rear cameras

Vlad, 15 May 2017

Samsung is working hard on getting the Galaxy Note8 right, that's pretty clear - especially since this will be the first Note-branded device following the Note7 debacle. And now that the Infinity Display tech has been introduced on the Galaxy S8 and S8+, there's no reason to think it won't be seen on the Note8 as well. But just how big will the phablet's screen be?

If a new rumor from China is to be believed, then it will only marginally improve upon the S8+'s 6.2-inch panel. The Note8 is said to sport a 6.3-inch screen, which we're pretty sure will use the same 18.5:9 aspect ratio as the company's other 2017 flagships. With a less tall aspect ratio, that size means the Note8 will be impossible to hold in one hand.

Moving on, the same Chinese source lets us know that the oft-rumored dual rear camera arrangement is in fact a go for the Note8. Unfortunately no other details have been shared this time around. Still, this would be the first high-end Samsung phone to come bearing such a setup, and that will undoubtedly make it remarkable.

I don't think so. The S8 front can be accept the design but I prefer a square corner of the display and I don't like the round corners. When you turn the S8 to the back, it's totally ugly as a flagship with the wrong place the fingerprint button, thi...
