Samsung Pay arrives in the UK, but only with three banks for now
After a long wait, Samsung Pay finally sets foot in the UK. The Korean company enabled the option after prolonged works with Visa and Mastercard and now customers of MBNA, Nationwide and Santander can take advantage of the service.
If Samsung Pay is not on your device, you can download it from Google Play. Then you just add your card, set up the security and confirm. Then your Samsung phone will work like a contactless payment card thanks to the NFC chip underneath the back panel.
The Samsung devices that currently support Samsung Pay are Galaxy S6/S6 edge/S6 edge+, the Galaxy S7/S7 edge, and the Galaxy S8/S8+. In the mid-range camp the new Galaxy A3 (2017) and the Galaxy A5 (2017) will support the payment method. Companies like American Express, HSBC, and M&S Bank are also expected to make the service available for their customers shortly.

How Samsung are allowed to get away with false advertising is beyond me. I got rid of my Note 5 because of this and other broken promises. Won't go near Samsung ever again. What gets me is people don't learn. They'll be complaining 6/8 months from no...

Why cant we pay using the gear s3 frontier? :s My understanding was that as long as you have samsung pay, you should be able to pay using the watch in UK.
