Mid-range Xiaomi Helium appears on Geekbench

Yordan, 12 July 2017

A Xiaomi phone with the model name Helium showed up on Geekbench. It posted mediocre scores, but given that it's powered by the mid-range Snapdragon 617 chipset you can't really expect much better.

The chipset has its octa-core CPU clocked at 1.4 GHz, while the reported RAM is 3 GB.

The listing also reveals the phone will come with Android 7.1.2 Nougat. Since it is a Xiaomi, you can bet it has the MIUI on top of that.

The Helium is likely just a model name rather than what the device will use when it launches.
