Nougat-powered Samsung Galaxy A5 (2017) and A7 (2017) get WiFi certified

Himanshu, 14 July 2017

Samsung launched the Galaxy A5 (2017) and Galaxy A7 (2017) back in January this year. The devices came with Android Marshmallow out of the box. However, it now looks like they'll soon get the Nougat update.

Both devices have been spotted on the website of WiFi Alliance, with the listing revealing they run Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box.

There's currently no information on exactly when the roll out will begin, but given that the update has started collecting necessary certifications, that should happen sooner than later.
