Issue with recurring reminders on Android Wear to be fixed soon [Updated]

Himanshu, 18 July 2017

Update 2: Sadly, the issue isn't fixed yet. Google shared the information this past weekend. Here's what a Google employee Ernest said in a message:

"Hi again, Another update about this, we have identified some issues that are preventing to have this issue fixed. We will let you know once is fully fixed for everyone. We might reach out to you by email if we need bug reports."

Update 1: The issue has been fixed. The information was shared Google employee Ernest on official Android Wear Help forum. Here's what he exactly said:

"We are happy to let you know that the issue reminders marked as done has been fixed. The fix is part of the new Google app update, 7.8 version."

Original story follows:

Google has confirmed that they are aware of an issue in Android Wear 2.0 in which recurring reminders get marked as done automatically, meaning they disappear without waiting for input from the user.

On official Android Wear forums, a company employee (who's part of the Wear team) has said that the issue is being worked on, and should be fixed soon.

Following is what they exactly said: "An update on this, we are aware of this issue and working actively to fix it. It should be fixed soon with an update in the Google app."

It was also confirmed that the Time to Leave card issue is also related to this problem, so expect that to be fixed soon as well.

Here's hoping the fix arrives sooner than later. For more information, head to the Source link below.
