Samsung Galaxy Note8 receives FCC certification

George, 29 July 2017

The Samsung Galaxy Note8 has received FCC certification, marking another necessary step before release to the public. You know what that means - another line of hideous markings on the back of the phone.

The Note7 that wasn't meant to be now lives on as the Note FE

Seriously though, the US telecom regulator has carried out the required testing and deemed the Note8 consumer ready. There are, of course, piles of technical documentation on the FCC website you can sift through if that's your thing.

The Samsung Galaxy Note8 is to be unveiled on August 23 in New York City, and should hopefully help us finally put the whole Note7 behind us once and for all.

Unfortunately, function dictates form. It's to risky to do it the other way around.
