Samsung Galaxy Note8 press renders leaked

Enrique, 01 August 2017

Famous leaker @evleaks just tweeted a full frontal photo of the Galaxy Note8. We’ve seen a couple of leaks that suggested the Note8 would have a larger top bezel than the bottom one, but that doesn't really make much sense.

The picture we’re taking a look at looks to be an official render of the phone. Though all we have is a photo of the front, which looks a lot like the Galaxy S8, the corners seem a bit boxier - in typical Note fashion.

Blass says the render is of the Midnight Black model of the phone. We know that all versions of the Galaxy S8 come with black front bezels, so we can safely assume it will be the same case with the Note8. The only difference across the colors of the Galaxy S8 in the front-facing render is the wallpaper and what you can make out in the very edges of the display.

While we have a pretty good idea of what the front of the phone will look like, we are eager to see what the back of the Note8 will have. We might be seeing a dual-camera setup on the Galaxy Note8, though we though the same thing about the Galaxy S8.

Update: here's a complete set of images (front, back, S Pen) of the Note8 in Midnight Black and Gold.

The Galaxy Note8 will be announced on August 23 in New York City. The phone will pack either an Exynos 8895 or Snapdragon 835 CPU + 4GB of RAM. Otherwise, we’re expecting a 6.4-inch Infinity Display with 18.5:9 aspect ratio. We are also expecting IP68 water resistance and S-Pen functionality.
