BLU S1 launched with MediaTek SoC, 13MP camera

BLU has launched a new smartphone, dubbed S1. The device is powered by MediaTek 6750 SoC with octa-core 1.5GHz CPU and sports a 5.2-inch HD display. RAM is 2GB, while internal memory is 16GB.

The handset features a 13MP main camera and a 5MP selfie shooter. Measuring 147.3 x 72.8 x 8.4mm and weighing in at 137g, the phone runs Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box. A 2,800mAh battery is there to keep the lights on.

The BLU S1 carries a price tag of $180, and officially comes in black, grey, and gold color options. It's compatible with AT&T, T-Mobile, and Sprint, but not Verizon.

Blu already has so many of these phones with the same specs in the same price range... what's the point? Not to mention at $180, you can get way better phones from other brands
