Pay with Google autofills forms so you don't have to

Ivan, 23 October 2017

Starting today Google is rolling out "Pay with Google" to Android devices and the Chrome browser.

The feature will automatically fill your card information (which you've given Google for Google Play, Android Pay or YouTube Red) in online payment forms, sparing you the need to manually enter your card number and security digits.

You'll then be prompted to confirm the payment with a security code on your Android phone.

As of today Pay with Google supports 15 businesses with more to come soon.

Developers can pick up the Google Payment API and start implementing Pay with Google to their apps. Google says that it doesn't charge any transaction fees.

I wouldn't keep my credit card info on my phone no matter how secured I have it. I do have google payment wallet thingy on my desktop though as it forces me to add a code each time I use it so that helps.
