Oreo beta program for Nokia 6 and Nokia 5 to kick off soon
HMD Global's CPO Juho Sarvikas just confirmed that Oreo beta testing for the company's Nokia 6 and Nokia 5 smartphones will begin soon.

This comes shortly after the final Oreo build started rolling out to the Nokia 8, making it the first Nokia smartphone to get the new Android OS. Sadly, there's currently no information on exactly when the Nokia 5 and 6 will start receiving beta builds.

Nokia promised that their devices would get Oreo faster than any other OEM. Sony is already releasing Oreo for several devices, while Nokia is only releasing beta programs. There is also no word on Nokia 3, which will probably not receive Oreo, contr...

Well.. Nokia 8 beta started exactly 1 month ago and they rolled out public version yesterday. So if they open beta for 5&6 this month, it will be tight before the end of the year.
