Xiaomi announces permanent price cut for Mi A1 in India

Himanshu, 11 December 2017

The Xiaomi Mi A1 has received an official price cut in India. The Android One device, which was launched by the company in September this year, is now available for INR 13,999 ($217), down from its original price of INR 14,999 ($232).

The price cut comes less than a month after the company released the Rose Gold variant of the phone in the country. The tweet doesn't explicitly say this, but this does look to be a permanent price cut. Head to the Source links below for more info.

Meanwhile, in another Mi A1-related news, the device has started receiving the December security patch. The update weighs in at 153MB, and also includes some security, stability, and performance related improvements.
