Top 10 trending phones of week 2

Chip, 14 January 2018

The second week of the year ended with a rather unexpected phone on top of our trending chart. The still unofficial Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 took the crown, overtaking the Xioami Mi A1.

A couple of Samsung handsets take the next two spots - the Galaxy A8 (2018) and the Galaxy J7 Pro.

The Oppo F5 holds onto fifth, ahead of the Xiaomi Redmi 5A and the Samsung Galaxy Note8.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 took eight to make it four handsets by the Chinese company in the top 10, while the final two spots are taken by the Galaxy S8 and the Apple iPhone X.

This meant there's no room left for the Nokia 6 (2018), which was third last week.

because the redmi note line has always been an excellent device regarding cost/quality/performance, we can't accept the redmi 5 plus as a true succesor
