YouTube TV app now available on the Apple TV

The YouTube TV app is now available for tvOS. Google revealed this information in a tweet from the YouTube TV account. The app is available for the 4th and 5th generation Apple TV devices in supported regions only.

YouTube TV is Google's live TV streaming service that debuted last year. For $35/month, you can stream live TV from networks such as ABC, CBS, Fox, NBC, AMC, BBC, CNBC, CW, Disney, ESPN, FX, MSNBC, National Geographic, and more. For an additional fee, you can also get networks like Showtime. YouTube Red is also included in the base subscription.

YouTube TV is currently only available in the USA in select states.

This is app for the YouTube TV service which is live TV streamed over the internet, not the YouTube app. The YT app has been available since the launch of first Apple TV if I'm not mistaken.
