Honor announces the quad-camera Honor 9 Lite for EU

The Honor 9 Lite was already announced for two markets: India, and Honor's home market of China. Today, Honor announces that the quad-camera phone will become available in Western European markets starting today.

The Honor 9 Lite is doing very well in China as "the best budget phone with stunning design and remarkable photography functions." It is also going very well in India, the phone sold out all three times it went on sale on Flipkart.

The Honor 9 Lite features a quad-camera system (13MP+2MP on both sides), further solidifying the trend of smartphones with dual selfie cameras. The Honor 9 Lite has a new 18:9 5.65-inch FullView display with thinned top and bottom bezels. The phone is powered by Huawei's own HiSilicon Kirin 659 - the same CPU found in the Honor 7X.

George Zhao, President of Honor adds "Honor will grow further from out solid success in the China market, and deepen our role as the though leader in global markets. We aim to become a top-five smartphone brand by 2020."

The back of the phone features a nano-scale optical coating that makes the phone glisten and reflect light to coincide with the Honor 9's ultra-shiny glass back plate.

The phone ships with Android Oreo with a 3GB + 32GB memory configuration and will be arriving to Germany, Italy, Spain, France, and the UK for €229 and you can order one from Honor's website right away. There are three color options: Midnight Black, Sapphire Blue, and Glacier Grey.

Nope a 5 camera setup behind like Nokia 9 will have when it will be unveiled very soon. It will be best camera phone of this year.

Who gives a $hit about selfie? Lack of NFC is not a deal breaker. Screen difference is hardly anything to complain about...
