HTC U Ultra Android Oreo update expands to more European countries

Vlad, 17 April 2018

Keeping its promise from last year, HTC sent out the update to Android 8.0 Oreo for the U Ultra at the beginning of March. Back then, it only reached Taiwan, India, and Italy.

Now though it is finally expanding to more countries. HTC's Twitter account for the DACH region (Germany, Austria, and Switzerland) has announced that units purchased from these markets are going to be updated from today onwards.

As always, the rollout might be staged, which means a few days will pass before all of the devices in the three aforementioned countries will get the update notification. We're hoping that HTC makes Oreo available to U Ultra handsets sold in other markets soon.
