Nokia X's regular 10W charger confirms budget nature

Peter, 23 April 2018

With posters showing that the Nokia X will be unveiled on April 27 (which is this Friday), HMD is completing the required certifications to launch the phone. Which is despite doing the simple math that X = 10 isn't going to be a flagship offer. A 10W charger bundled with it just came to confirm that.

Two model numbers – TA-1099 and TA-1109 – have been certified by the CCC wireless authority. The listing doesn’t reveal much beyond TD-LTE (showing these are China Mobile handsets) and the charger.

CCC's certification for the Nokia TA-1099 and TA-1109 (presumably Nokia X variants)
CCC's certification for the Nokia TA-1099 and TA-1109 (presumably Nokia X variants)

It’s a 5V/2A charger, meaning it’s as ordinary as they come – nothing fast here. That, along with the lack of hype surrounding the Nokia X launch shows that the phone is going to be a spiritual successor of the original X model from 2014 rather than a new flagship device.

The main issue is price. May be The Nokia 6 X have 799 URO. OR 49999 INR. but the same model other brands only have 399-499 URO.

HMD’s*

Will be just another X from 2014 with modern budget specs, just meant to show Nokia's software engineers' skills (or the lack of it)...
