The biggest talking point of the new Mi 6X, which should arrive globally as Xiaomi Mi A2, is the dual camera setup. The main sensor is 12 MP Sony IMX486 with f/1.75 aperture and 1.25 μm pixel size. The secondary is used for better portrait pictures and photos in the dark - it comes with 20 MP Sony IMX376 sensor and the same lens in front of it. The selfie snapper is the same as the secondary camera - 20 MP cam with Sony IMX376 sensor.

According to Xiaomi, the secondary camera does 4-to-1 pixel binning to provide better low light shots, similar to the Oppo R15 and OnePlus 5T.

Of course, as is the trend, the dual camera comes with AI enhancements for over 200 scenes, including 12 different portait modes. It is also said to learn through time to provide superior details and edge blur even for headwear, face detection and gestures.

Specs-wise, the Xiaomi Mi 6X comes with Snapdragon 660 chipset with octa-core CPU at 2.2 GHz and Adreno 512 GPU. There are three memory combos - 4/64 GB, 6/64 GB, and 6/128 GB. The display on the front is the same as on the Redmi Note 5 Pro - 5.99” LCD with Full HD+ resolution. Although there is a fingerprint on the back, the Mi 6X also comes with Face Unlock support.

The new phone runs MIUI 9.5 out of the box. The user interface is based on Android Oreo 8.1 and the ROM will have Project Treble support for quick updates. Coming with 3,010 mAh battery and Quick Charge 3.0 support, the Xiaomi Mi 6X will be offered in five colors - Cherry Pink, Flame Red, Sand Gold, Glacier Blue, and Black. Prices will start from CNY1,599 or about $250/€210.

Mi Note 3 would be better option to this with current price cut. IMO Mi Note 3 is the most balanced Xiaomi's product.

Kinda sort of Redmi Note 5 (Prime). Why? Same design as the Redmi Note 5, but with higher specifications. I'm hoping to see the MIUI onboard the global Mi 6X (Mi A2).
