vivo X21 UD with in-display fingerprint to launch in India on May 29

Ro, 21 May 2018

The vivo X21 UD may look like every other notched smartphone out there, but it offers a technology that most of its flagship rivals lack - in-display fingerprint scanner. And now it's coming to India too.

The device was first launched in China at the end of March, followed by Singapore in the beginning of May. Today Flipkart's mobile app started teasing the X21 UD's launch in India on May 29 and bragging about its exclusivity of the phone.

In addition to the revolutionary fingerprint tech, the vivo X21 UD boasts a 6.28-inch Super AMOLED screen and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 SoC with 6GB of RAM.

Internal storage is ample at 128GB and there's a 3,200 mAh battery powering all of this. The rear camera setup consists of a 12MP f/1.8 main sensor and a 5MP one for depth information.

Pricing will be confirmed closer to the launch date.

Not reasonable when you are getting last year’s flagships from samsung, htc, etc for $70 more. Why pay more for early tech, that too for a chinese company?

If you forget the One plus 6 450$ for a 660 device is almost reasonable, especially with that fingerprint scanner
