Nokia 8 update brings Pro Camera for Lumia-style manual controls

The Nokia 8 is receiving firmware update V4.88B, the highlight feature of which is Camera Pro. The update is rolling out currently and weighs in at a hair over 600 MB, so you better connect to Wi-Fi and sit down.

The Camera Pro is the Lumia-style manual mode. It puts the ISO, Shutter speed, Exposure compensation and White balance on concentric circles that make it easy to adjust the image before hitting the shutter key.

Camera Pro is already available on some of HMD’s Nokia phones, but it should make its way to all models with Zeiss optics.
