Oppo F9 key specs leak

Yordan, 06 August 2018

Oppo F9 was teased by the company last week with a miniature notch. It will also have a Pro version that will support VOOC fast charging, but the rest of the specs were still unavailable. Now, according to a tip in our mailbox, we know the chipset, camera setup and plenty other important specs of the upcoming selfie-based midranger.

AndroidPure reported the Oppo F9 will have Helio P60 chipset that has octa-core CPU. This is exactly the same platform the Oppo F7 had, which would be a first, since Oppo always updated its chipset in every new device from the F portfolio. Memory will be 4 GB + 64 GB, but there will be a long slot that can have a microSD and two SIM cards at the same time.

The new screen with the Essential-like notch will be 6.3" in diagonal with Full HD+ resolution. The dual camera will be 16 MP + 2 MP, with the mightier sensor coming with a f/1.85 lens in front of it. The front snapper is expected to be 25 MP with AI-branded features for selfies.

The phone will come with Color OS 5.2, likely based on Android Oreo. We doubt Android P is on the schedule since the phone is expected to be unveiled in 10 days, while an official date for the new OS version hasn’t been scheduled yet by Google. The device will have two colors - Sunrise Red and Twilight Blue, but we already reported how they look.

Of course, I can't really trust Mediatek because they're suited for the budget companies and their source codes are way worse than Qualcomms. Why heating issues? First off, my new classmate bought a shiny nebula F7 recently. But then, here is hi...
