Realme 2 debuted in the last days of August, and the event ended with a teaser for "2 surPrise you". That was a clear hint for the arrival of the Realme 2 Pro, which is happening today and you can follow it live here.

The Oppo subsidiary will introduce the Pro phone with a Snapdragon 660 chipset and up to 8 GB RAM, according to a Geekbench listing.

A leaked photo suggested the device will have 128 GB storage, living up to its Pro moniker. The phone might also be the global pioneer for the subbrand, since it is also expected to arrive in Indonesia next month.

Unlike the regular Realme 2, the new phone will have a waterdrop notch but will miss on the typical diamond-pattern back panel. At least it will keep its tall screen ratio, the dual camera setup and will come in a sweet light aqua blue color.
