Yordan, 08 October 2018

BlackBerry took the stage at IFA 2018 and introduced the KEY2 LE as a toned-down version of the KEY2. The device appeared for pre-order in Europe immediately after the launch, but the US arrival happened only last Friday.

The next big market to get the phone is India, where the KEY2 LE will be an Amazon Exclusive and pre-orders begin on October 12.

The KEY2 LE offered in India is the Space Blue version with 4 GB RAM and 64 GB storage. It is expected to arrive tomorrow on the online retailer’s website with its own landing page, but availability is reserved for the Friday date.

Specs-wise, it has a dual 13 MP + 5 MP sensors for its main camera setup, while the selfie shooter is 8 MP. BlackBerry ship the phone with Android Oreo 8.1 out of the box with some DTEK Security features.

The price of the device is INR29,990 which is about $405 or €350. The amount is significantly lower than the US price tag of $449, while in Europe it costs the same, but you get the 32 GB version.

I doubt anyone would even care

They reduced price because they know Indians are price sensitive and they don't want 1/6th of world population to forget about an old keyboard warrior. God only knows if someone takes the challenge to buy and use it.
