Samsung W2019 clamshell arriving on November 9
The clamshell smartphone Samsung W2019 leaked a number of times, but now we a date to mark on our calendars. The company has set its announcement for November 9 as evidenced by invitations sent out to Chinese media. The event will take place in Wuxi, a Chinese city near Shanghai.
Thanks to a TENAA listing, we know the new device will have two 4.2” Super AMOLED displays, Snapdragon 845 chipset and a 3,000 mAh battery. We also saw there will be a Bixby button on the left side, but the device will lack a fingerprint scanner and a 3.5 mm audio jack.,
The clamshell W lineup is characterized by limited availability and very high prices. The phone will cost at least CNY17,000 or about $2,500/€2,100 due to its exclusivity. There is a Rose Gold variant in tow, but looking at the poster, we would love to see some unorthodox colors for premium devices like Red and Blue.

It's pretty much got the smartphone clamshell form factor niche to itself. Not much competition; I think that's a great reason for it to exist.

the real waste is that Samsung still hasn't replaced their whole marketing team with you, you obviously know better what to do)

Who will buy this phone? It's waste of resources and energy to manufacture it while no one is buying
