Oppo R17 Pro is arriving in Europe under the name Oppo RX17 Pro and we are already in Milan, Italy, for the launch. We don’t expect any surprises from the specs sheet of the three-cam smartphone, but the price was the big unknown before the event.

Well, not anymore, since it was leaked by the guys at Mysmartprice - the 8/128 GB phone will cost €599.

The original specs of the RX17 Pro include a Snapdragon 710 chipset and a 6.4” OLED panel with an UD fingerprint reader. The screen resolution is 2340 x 1080 pixels with a waterdrop notch on the top. It is made for the 25 MP front-facing camera that along with the ColorOS 5.2 would make the selfies even smarter and better with time.

The main setup on the back has three cameras and we are eager to set our hands on the device. Stick around after the event to read our hands-on impressions of the Oppo RX17 Pro. You’ll know it is over by following the stream below. It begins at 20:20 CET:

So it's almost an exact copy of OnePlus 6T with a worse SoC yet it costs the same?
