Google Pixel Slate pre-orders start, shipping on November 22
Google's Pixel Slate may have been overshadowed in the news cycle by Apple's new iPad Pro models, but it's still coming. As a matter of fact, it just went up for pre-order today, at both Best Buy and the Google online store.
You'll need to pay at least $599 for one - that nabs you the version with a Celeron processor, 4GB of RAM, and 32GB of storage. Double the memory and storage and you're up to $699.
The one with a Core m3 CPU, 8GB of RAM, and 64GB of space is priced at $799. The 128GB i5 variant with 8GB of RAM is $999, while for the 256GB i7 model with 16GB of RAM you'll have to shell out $1,599.
Although it's not mentioned in the pre-order listings, the shipping date seems to be November 22. People who go through with a pre-order will get this estimate in their confirmation email, at least at the moment.

iOS is more limited than ChromeOS, not sure why you would consider that

For $600 I'd get the pixel slate and get more value for my money! When a chrome OS line is priced as expensive as a windows or iOS device, I'd go for microsoft and apple >.>
