Realme 2 Pro now also getting ColorOS update

Yordan, 21 November 2018

Days after Realme started feeding a firmware update to Realme 2 and Realme C1 smartphones, the Oppo subsidiary issued an OTA package to its Realme 2 Pro smartphone.

The new update brings plenty of optimizations, along with single-swipe notification dismiss, and the headset icon is finally appearing in the status bar when you are into a call.

Realme reminds you that the update will be gradually rolled out and it will take “a few days for all users to receive”. In comments below the official announcement on Twitter, the Oppo subsidiary acknowledged drain battery issues - it said they are now fixed with an update for Touchpal App.

The new package brings the November security patch as well, but Color OS 5.2 is yet to arrive, scheduled for the end of December. It is based on Android Oreo, so no Pie in the near future as well.
