Nokia 7.1 gets Android 9 Pie
The Nokia 7.1 is has begun receiving the Android 9 Pie update. The news was delivered by HMD Global's Chief Product Officer Juho Sarvikas on Twitter.
The Nokia 7.1 is an Android One device, meaning it's running mostly close to stock Android. Nokia was testing the new software since October.

Android 9 Pie brings a lot of improvements and a fresh new design and navigation. You get Adaptive Battery, Digital Wellbeing that shows you how much time you're spending in certain apps and improved notification handling.

Android Pie is trash compared to Oreo 8.1. Avoid at all costs

Not true at all. Gestures is turned off by default. You can find it in Settings>System>Gestures>Swipe Up on Home Button. Even after pie update in some cases, swipe gesture toggle is not visible unless phone is restarded at least once.

Then give me your phone I'll swap you with my shtt iPhone which has shtt connectivity I cant even make reliable calls and internet on it.
