Yordan, 17 December 2018

Lenovo Z5s with is arriving tomorrow with more than 8 GB RAM and a triple-cam setup on the back. Eager to show us the device, the company VP just revealed the Z5s colors on Weibo. Chang Cheng, formerly the leader of ZUK smartphones, posted the official press images on his social media profile, revealing the glass back of the new phone will come in three colors - Black, Purple, and some sort of Gold/Pink/Orange gradient.

The black Lenovo Z5s look plain and classic, which will most likely be the first available option in those flash sales happening in China all the time. You can also notice the USB-C port and 3.5 mm audio jack next to it. The rim of the phone is dark blue, so the actual color might not be called Black, but some obscure variant like Night Sky.

The second version is where all the visual pleasure is - a gradient starting from pink and gradually getting to bright orange is not an option we’ve seen in many manufacturers. The rim around the phone is Rose Gold, and this is probably inspired by the colors you can see in a clear weather during sunrise. So we’re guessing Sunrise Gold/Pink.

The purple variant is also unique in its own way. It appears with slight RGB hues, that in another image can reveal even orange and aqua blue colors. This variant of the Lenovo Z5s likely has micro dots that reflect the light in a different way, giving rainbow glares to the back panel.

The official announcement is happening tomorrow, so we’ll know how much this pretty device will cost and when it will be launched.

Lenovo makes really good hardware. I recently changed the battery for my Vibe X3 (It's the best sounding phone I've ever had, that's why I still use it) and had to tear it down, I couldn't really find any areas where they skimped out on the hardware ...
