Our Honor Magic 2 video review is up

Vlad, 17 December 2018

Xiaomi beat Honor to the full screen slider game by a few days back in October when it announced the Mi Mix 3 ahead of the Honor Magic 2. And yet Honor strikes back with a much cooler name - Magic is Magic, after all.

The two devices seem to share the exact same display panel, which is partly to thank for both of them sporting a near bezel-less look. For real this time. We're getting ever closer to the dream of no bezels at all, and the Honor Magic 2 takes us one step further on that road.

The phone comes with top notch specs, headlined by the Kirin 980 chipset, currently Huawei subsidiary HiSilicon's best. This is paired with up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, while on the back you get three cameras. The slider reveals an intriguing setup with one 16 MP selfie cam and two depth sensors. The under-display fingerprint sensor is there to further solidify the fact that this is Honor's flagship device at the moment.

But is it any good? You can read our in-depth review in order to get a hang of our feelings towards it. If you're short on time, our newly published video review of the Honor Magic 2 will answer the most important questions you might have regarding the phone's build, screen quality, battery life, performance, and camera image quality.

All of this info is neatly arranged for you in a seven minute video, so make yourself comfortable, hit Play, and enjoy the ride.
