Oppo K1 arrives in India, exclusive to Flipkart

Yordan, 06 February 2019

Last week Oppo teased the arrival of “the latest tech at an incredible price” and today we know what this mysterious device with UD fingerprint scanner is. Enter Oppo K1 with 6.4” AMOLED panel, Snapdragon 660 and 4/64 GB memory at an impressive price of about $235.

We hoped to see the Oppo F11/F11 Pro midranger or the R17 Neo, but the Chinese company decided to go with the K1. It brings a tall Full HD+ screen with a waterdrop notch, housing a 25 MP selfie shooter. The primary setup has a 16 MP sensor and a 2 MP secondary depth-sensing camera.

The phone boots Android 8.1 Oreo as a base for the ColorOS 5.2. There is a 3,600 mAh battery under the hood, but it is charged at regular 10W rates through a microUSB port. Other connectivity options include Bluetooth 5.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac and dual SIM.

The phone has four colors, but only two of them will be available in India - the gradient Van Gogh Blue and Piano Black.

The price of the phone is INR16,990. It will arrive at Flipkart on February 12 exactly at noon and will come with some incentives, including discounts from certain banks and buyback options.
