Sony's press videos for the new Xperia 1, 10 and 10 Plus are up on YouTube

Whether you personally appreciate it or not, there is no denying that Sony has a fresh and bold new design direction for its latest batch of handsets. 21:9 cinematic aspect, of course, being the spotlight feature shared across most of the new lineup, including the premium Xperia 1, as well as the mid-range Xperia 10 and 10 Plus.

However, 21:9 is just the tip of the feature iceberg, especially when it comes to the Xperia 1. And it's Sony's marketing job to convey that to prospective buyers as best it can. The set of YouTube videos it just dropped is a pretty good start.

Naturally, the Xperia 1 is soaking up most of the spotlight, with a video dedicated to design, another one about the world-first 4K, OLED, 21:9 HDR panel and then some videos specifically detailing the phone's triple camera prowess and cinematic video capture capabilities.

The Xperia 10 and 10 Plus also get some love. Mostly related to their take on a slightly less potent, but still impressive 21:9 panel.

Sony even has an official hands-on video for the Xperia 1 up on its channel. Having said that, we have one as well and we're definitely not above promoting it.

And if you are after an even more in-depth first look at the Xperia 1, 10, 10 Plus, as well as the entry-level Xperia L3 you can check out our written hands-on review.
