The iQOO's official slogan is “Monster Inside”, and vivo did ts best to provide some monster specs. RAM is up to 12 GB, while storage goes as high as 256 GB. The screen comes with a 6.41” OLED panel with a waterdrop notch and UD fingerprint scanner.

The 44W fast-charging support means you can charge 50% of the 4,000 mAh battery in 15 minutes, 85% in half hour and a full charge will be done in 45 minutes. It is worth mentioning the cheapest variant with 6/128 GB memory will miss this feature and will come with 22.5W charging support.

Since this phone is aimed at mobile gamers, it has “super liquid cooling” which brings a vapor chamber. There are also plenty of features to boost performance, such as AI Turbo, Center Turbo, Net Turbo, Cooling Turbo, and Game Turbo, neatly wrapped in one service called Multi-Turbo. They will boost app startup by 30%, frame rate with over 70%, and automatic switch between Wi-Fi and 4G for non-stop gaming.

Mobile gamers and smartphone photographers might be two different breeds, but vivo iQOO has something for the latter group as well. There is a three-cam setup on the back with a 13 MP wide-angle lens and Sony IMX263 sensor, a main 12 MP shooter with vivo’s own dual-pixel technology and a 2 MP depth sensor.

Pricing for vivo iQOO in Electric Blue or Lava Orange begins at CNY2,998 ($450/€390) for the 6/128 GB phone. Going for 8 GB RAM will set you back CNY3,298 ($490/€430), switching to 256 GB storage is CNY300 extra, and if you want the 12/256 GB monster, you have to dig deep and pull out at least CNY4,298, which is equal to $640/€563. You can register for the first flash sale, scheduled for March 6 at 10 AM local time.
