Sony gives you a free case with the Xperia 10 and 10 Plus in Europe

Sony’s new premium mid-rangers are available in Europe and if you buy them through the Sony eStore, you get a free Style Cover Stand. The deal ends on March 10 and is available in the UK, Ireland, France, Germany, Italy and Spain.

So, whether you get the Sony Xperia 10 or Xperia 10 Plus, a complimentary case will be automatically added to your order. Here’s what that case looks like:

Style Cover Stand for the Sony Xperia 10 and 10 Plus

It’s a flip case that protects the screen and can also act as a kickstand so you can enjoy video on the 21:9 screens. You can have it in any color as long as it's black.

As a reminder, the Xperia 10 goes for €350/£300, the Xperia 10 Plus is €430/£350 (note that the phones are single or dual SIM, depending on region). The cases are not available separately so it’s not clear how much they are worth on their own.

Note that the prices above are the MSRP. A bit of digging around finds that you can have the Xperia 10 for £290 or €334. The 10 Plus is down to €430.

Sony says that other deals are available in “select global markets”. The Xperia L3 gets no freebies. The 10 phones are on pre-order in the US, however there's no mention of cases.
