Xiaomi posts another video of its double folding phone

Peter, 27 March 2019

Xiaomi’s foldable phone has appeared in yet another video. This one is short but sweet and features a cup of instant noodles, not that this has any deep symbolism.

The video shows off the back gesture, which seems handy when the device is in tablet mode. And, of course, it shows how quickly the double folding screen can go from tablet to phone size.

Xiaomi’s foldable phone is expected in the second quarter of this year (April-June) at half the price of Samsung’s Galaxy Fold. Xiaomi co-developed the flexible screen with Visionox, the dual fold mechanism and refinements to MIUI are all Xiaomi.
