Check out Samsung's 25W charger with USB Power Delivery

Peter, 29 March 2019

The Galaxy S10 5G and Galaxy A70 are the first Samsungs to support 25W wired charging (vanilla S10 models stick to the old 15W standard). Here’s a look at the charger that will be bundled with these phones.

The EP-TA800 is a USB Power Delivery charger that uses a USB-C to USB-C cable to connect to phones. It tops out at 25W, but supports the Programmable Power Supply (PPS) mode, which allows the phone to control the power output of the charger for optimal charging that keeps the battery cool (you can see the voltage and amp ranges on the charger).

This charger will also be used the Galaxy A90 (or is it A90?) and some claim that the LTE Galaxy S10 trio can be updated to use the new charger as well. Samsung has not confirmed this officially yet.
