Zenfone 6 arrives on AnTuTu, confirms Snapdragon 855 chipset

Yordan, 03 April 2019

Asus is unveiling the Zenfone 6 in Valencia next month, and we already know some of the specs of the phone. Yesterday it popped on Geekbench with model number ASUS_I01WD, and today it appeared on AnTuTu as well. The specs are in line with the previous results, and the score is similar to other Snapdragon 855-powered phones.

While the chipset, RAM, and OS were already known, the new info is that the phone will have Full HD+ resolution and 19.5:9 tall screen. Back in early 2018, the Zenfone 5 was among the first Androids with iPhone X-esque notch, and we are curious to see if Zenfone 6 will also act as a pioneer for good measure.

The 363,172 result is similar to what Xiaomi Mi 9 and vivo IQOO reached back in March, both of which have the same flagship chipset by Qualcomm.

I hope they improve marketing for this phone in North America. Because most people here in America don't even know that Asus makes phone if they even know Asus exists.
