LG V50 ThinQ 5G launch postponed

Sagar, 16 April 2019

The LG V50 ThinQ that was unveiled back in February at MWC 2019 was slated to launch on April 19 in its home country South Korea. However, the company has now announced that the launch has been postponed.

LG pushed back the launch citing need to further optimize the Snapdragon 855 SoC and X50 5G modem to offer enhanced experience to V50 ThinQ 5G users. The company also said that it's working with Qualcomm and South Korean mobile operators towards improved 5G service and smartphone interoperability.

New release date of the V50 ThinQ 5G is currently unavailable, but LG has said that it will be confirmed soon.
