Honor 20i arrives with 32 MP selfie camera for under $300

Yordan, 17 April 2019

The Honor 20i arrived for pre-order on Monday despite not being announced, but today the Huawei subsidiary lifted the curtain. The device comes with Kirin 710 chipset, four memory configurations and prices of under $300.

The phone looks a lot like the Honor 10i and has a 6.21” LCD with a waterdrop notch and a 32 MP camera tucked in. The main setup lines up three shooters - 24 MP f/1.8 main, 8 MP f/2.4 with a telephoto lens and 2 MP f/2.4 depth sensor.

The octa-core chipset is coupled with 4/128 GB, 6/64 GB, 6/128 GB, or 6/256 GB memory, but for some reason, the variant with 128 gigs storage is not available at Vmall, Huawei’s online store. Other noteworthy bits include include EMUI 9, based on Android Pie, 3,400 mAh battery and dated micro USB 2.0 port.

Prices for the 4/128 GB and 6/64 GB options are CNY1,599 (about $240), while the 6/256 GB phone is CNY2,199. Although the 6/128 GB is nowhere to be seen, its price is reported to be CNY1,899. The Honor 20i will start shipping in two days with three color choices - Gradient Blue, Gradient Red, Midnight Black.

If they use their kirin chipset that means that is going to be pricey.
