vivo S1 Pro goes on sale in China

The vivo S1 Pro was only announced on Monday but it's already available for purchase in China via the company’s site. The Pro is identical in appearance to the regular vivo S1 with the real differences coming under the hood.

The phone packs a Snapdragon 675 SoC compared to alongside 6GB or 8GB RAM. Somewhat strangely the 8GB RAM variant comes with 128GB of storage while the 6GB RAM version packs 256GB.

The S1 Pro is available in either Blue or Red and pricing for both the 6/256GB and 8/128 GB versions comes at CNY2,698 ($395/€355).

The phone is built around a 6.39-inch FHD Super AMOLED panel with a motorized selfie cam for a notchless viewing experience. The front camera packs a 32MP sensor and there’s an in-display fingerprint reader.

Around the back, the phone features a triple camera setup headlined by the 48MP main sensor with its Quad-Bayer color filter. Complementing it are the 8MP wide angle and 5MP depth senors. Software wise the phone runs on Funtouch OS 9 built on top of Android Pie. The battery is 3,700 mAh and features 18W fast charging via microUSB.
