Redmi Pro 2 specs appear online
Redmi is looking to spice up its porfolio with a flagship offering powered by the Snapdragon 855. The phone in question might be called the Redmi Pro 2 and we have its supposed spec sheet thanks to a Chinese leakster.
The phone features a similar design to the Redmi Note 7 but without a display cutout thanks to its 20MP pop-up camera. The screen appears to have a rather large chin and some top bezel but it is forgivable as it is expected to be priced well below other flagship offerings.
The display comes in at 6.39-inches and with FHD+ resolution. It's going to feature Gorilla Glass 5 protection and a built-in fingerprint sensor. Around the back, we see the triple camera setup which will be headlined by the 48MP main sensor. The battery is rated at 3,600 mAh and supports 27W fast charging. Redmi is also sticking with a fan favorite - the IR port.
The phone will be available in Red, Blue, and Black colorways and is expected to be announced soon.

now THIS is a worthy successor to the Pocophone F1. Hopefully this will be the one rebranded as Poco F2 instead of the Redmi K20 Pro...

I prefer Mi Mix 3's slider camera than pop up camera. Wrong move Xiaomi. Why follow the other brands awkward design?

So what's the point of a pop out camera and all the caveats of a moving part if it's going to have plenty of bezel anyway?
