Michail, 20 May 2019

After we got confirmation that the upcoming Redmi K20’s main camera sensor will, be the 48MP Sony IMX586, the brand’s General Manager Lu Weibing released a teaser of its slow-motion capabilities on Weibo.

The self-titled flagship killer's camera will be able to record up to 960FPS videos which is hardly shocking given the powerful chipset and the high-end sensor on board. The IMX586 is featured in several flagship phones such as the Xiaomi Mi 9, OnePlus 7 Pro and Oppo Reno 5G but not all are made equal so it will be interesting to see how the K20 performs.

The upcoming flagship killer is scheduled to be announced on May 28 and come in two variants with the Pro version offering a more premium package. Stay tuned for next Tuesday’s big announcement.
