New HTC phone coming June 11

HTC is looking to add a new phone to its portfolio. The company, which has been focusing more on its VR headsets lately, is finally going back to its roots with the upcoming launch of its new midrange phone. The HTC Taiwan Facebook page shared a new poster confirming the launch date for the new phone on June 11. Rumors point that the new device will release as the HTC U19e but for now, we cannot confirm this.

What we do know is the core spec sheet which we saw on AnTuTu and Geekbench back in April. The device appeared with the 2Q7A100 model number and showed off a Snapdragon 710 SoC paired with 6GB RAM and ran on Android 9 Pie. Since then we also got some design schematics courtesy of the NCC for our first look at the device.

New speculations suggest the phone will feature a 6-inch 18:9 screen with FHD+ resolution. The battery is expected to have 3,930 mAh capacity with Quick Charge 4 support.

The phone will have dual cameras on the front and back and we might see a transparent back edition like the Exodus 1.

I really want HTC to do well, they should make more phones, more than Sony, less than Nokia, that would be good enough, also fair pricing and specs will do the job.
