Rugged Samsung Galaxy XCover 4s is official with €299.99 price tag

The Samsung Galaxy XCover 4s leaked in full last week, and now the Korean company has decided to officially announce it in Italy.

As it's part of the XCover line, the phone is rugged: it has IP68 certification for water and dust resistance, and it's MIL-STD 810G compliant. Otherwise, it's a mid-ranger through and through.

It comes with a 5-inch TFT HD touchscreen, the Exynos 7885 chipset, a 16 MP f/1.7 rear camera, a 5 MP f/2.2 selfie shooter, and a 2,800 mAh battery. It runs Android 9 Pie, and has 3GB of RAM and 32GB of expandable storage. Its dimensions are 145.9 x 73.1 x 9.7 mm.

The dedicated XCover button on the side can launch your preferred app or action, as it's fully customizable at will.

The Galaxy XCover 4s will become available in Italy in July for €299.99. We expect it to reach other European markets soon after that, for a similar (if not identical) price.

That's a hypothetical choice. There is no such option in fact. Of course having a removable battery is good. Of course having a small battery is bad. Samsung could fit a much bigger battery in this phone but decided that the customers would buy it ...
